Upper Body Screening & Assessments

  • Conduct a functional screening assessment of the upper body.
  • Perform supporting upper-body breakout assessments as needed (shoulder and neck).
  • Assign two individualized programs to complete between sessions.
  • Discuss the projected length of training required to achieve your goals.
  • Provide a customized email outline detailing the recommended training investment and estimated timeframe.

Programming Foundation & Strength Testing

  • Incorporate and assign a daily upper-body corrective protocol based on findings from Session 3.
  • Break down one new barbell functional movement with proper technique and coaching cues.
  • Work up to a 5-rep max on the functional movement to establish a benchmark.
  • Discuss scheduling options should you choose to continue training.

Between Sessions

After each session, you’ll be assigned tasks—whether corrective exercises, nutrition adjustments, or movement-based activities—to reinforce your training and accelerate progress.

Freddy is a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC), and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) serving clients in Saint Louis, Missouri with a lifelong commitment to results-driven, client-focused coaching.

He holds dual degrees (Bachelor’s and Master’s in Public Accounting) from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, bringing a structured, analytical approach to training, program design, and measurable results.

Freddy leads by example. He has competed in Powerlifting and Mixed Martial Arts, holding the state deadlift record at 711 lbs from 2015–2022, and earning a Mixed Martial Arts Amateur Title with Shamrock Promotions in 2018. He believes the trainer you hire should live the standards they teach — both inside and outside the gym.

What a phenomenal experience in Tucson! Freddy had the opportunity to earn his Lower Body Mastery certification under the expert guidance of Dr. Sean, Brendan, and Jeff. This intensive program took a deep dive into functional assessments, equipping practitioners with the tools to identify the true root causes of pain and movement limitations — starting from the ankle and working up through the entire kinetic chain.

The certification featured live case studies that powerfully demonstrated the interconnected nature of the human body. A recent three-day, 24-hour live immersion led by Kinesiologist Brandon Fox and Dr. Sean delivered an intensive experience focused on practical case studies and professional development.

During the Upper Body Mastery Certification, participants explored personal injuries and movement limitations while developing structured roadmaps to assess, identify, and modify dysfunctional patterns for long-term restoration. The program emphasized shoulder and neck function, targeting upper body pain and limitations linked to postural discrepancies such as upper crossed syndrome, while isolating and removing unrelated lower body factors.

"Through this process, attendees gained the ability to more accurately trace shoulder pain to its root cause — designing highly personalized prehabilitation and corrective exercise programs aimed at reducing pain and preventing injury caused by chronic imbalances."

This intensive program took a deep dive into the mechanics of the core, breathing, and spinal function — equipping practitioners with the tools to assess and restore the body's most fundamental stabilization system.
